Gear Up 4 Kids
Gear up 4 Kids is an opportunity for interested parties to provide a youth at risk with sorely needed provisions. From the basics such as school supplies, clothing and grooming materials, to recreational diversions… the need is great!
A lot of the youth in our group homes arrive with nothing more than the clothes on their back. While our community based facilities provide 24-hour awake supervision, intervention, stablization, and family style care, we can always use help in meeting the basic necessities for our youth as well as resources for increasing their opportunities for recreation and after school activities. We make every effort to support the child in their established school routine, and any help we can get to do this provides a great return for the youth in our care.
Gear up 4 Kids works to insure a sucessful return to a normal routine by providing school supplies, clothing, sporting equipment and recreational opportunities.
